As the bulls revved, simply hinting at the power of their race weapons cloaked in their hoods, the drivers sat in their spotted hospital uniforms with their gap-tooth, young smiles and their IVs in tow. The children arrived from Memorial Hermann Hospital as the star guests for the second-annual Lamborghini Festival 2013<\/strong>. The event highlights these machines and the power the car-loving community has when they come together for a children\u2019s cancer cause. New World Auto Transport owners Steve and Daisy Wells had the privilege to be on the scene with some VIPs to experience the two-day event.<\/p>\n

Lamborghini Festival 2013 benefiting Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital<\/p><\/div>\n

All years and models of Lamborghinis flooded Houston\u2019s City Center for the second-annual from April 6-8. Money was raised for child terminal diseases via artwork, posters, raffles and on Saturday, participants headed to Motor Sport Ranch to lap the track and raise additional funds by paid rides with Valentino Balboni, who was the chief test driver of Lamborghini for 40 years. The brand labeled a 2009 addition to the Gallardo lineup the LP550-2 Valentino Balboni, one of which was present at the festival.<\/p>\n

The Lamborghini event was a concept that was derived from Edge Revolution, a worldwide group of automotive, aviation and maritime industries that have come together to help children who are battling terminal diseases and to make a difference in the world.<\/p>\n

“The ambiance is amazing,\u201d said New World owner Steve Wells. \u201cWe love to give back to the community while admiring the architecture of the cars.\u201d<\/p>\n
